In recent times, India has seen major developments in the Health sector with an objective to improve the patient care delivery system. However, the Eastern region of India (especially the North-east region) still lacks behind in terms of availability and provisioning of Healthcare services which can match with national and International standards. Availability and accessibility of quality healthcare services in Eastern India is a matter of major concern. Realizing the evident gap in demand and supply and its impact on the region a first of its kind Healthcare Conference is scheduled to be held in Guwahati on the 15thof November, 2014 with a theme focusing on “Quality: A tool to Enhance & Sustain Patient Experience”. The conference is being organized by Integra Ventures, an exclusive healthcare consultancy firm based in Guwahati which is rendering services in private and public sectors in the areas of Planning, Designing and Commissioning of healthcare organizations & guiding existing ones towards increasing Operational efficiency.
The conference is being organized with the support of the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH). Dr. K. K.
